Plasti-Block® Post-Consumer Recycled Blocks

Omachron Plastics Inc. is proud to introduce our one of a kind 100% recycled plastic blocks with color additives. Our blocks are injection molded using our own unique proprietary color blending and molding technology, manufacturing high-quality blocks with minimal internal stress. We use post-consumer plastics straight from the bale they came (via a pelletizer) and convert them into our Plasti-Block® products. Our blocks are machinable and can be used for multiple applications.

Plastics with recycling codes #1 – #7 include PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP, PS, and other miscellaneous plastics. Each block is made of an assortment of these materials with a direct consequence of this ‘randomness’ being that we cannot guarantee the exact compound properties of the block that you will receive. Additionally, the use of 100%, straight from the bale, post-consumer plastics comes with the potential for our all blocks to contain trace pieces of fiberglass, aluminum, and steel – please factor this in to any machining operations you will want to perform.

Pockets of air may be present internally, though these voids typically only range from 0.005” to 0.125” in diameter. The outer skin of the block is a smooth plastic layer, which is typically polyethylene. Cutting this surface exposes the interior and changes the appearance.
